About Our Founder
Emma Lippiner, raised in North Carolina, always loved the states diverse environments. From an early age, Emma has been passionate about environmental issues, a commitment that deepened during her high school years. Her enthusiasm for environmental science was particularly ignited by her participation in the Yale NSLC Environmental Science Program, which provided her with a deeper understanding and motivation to make a difference.
Emma's dedication to environmental advocacy led her to join Citizens Climate Lobby Charlotte, where she took on the role of a representative at the Duke gas trials and participated in outreach efforts at various colleges across the state. These experiences further fueled her determination to drive change and educate others about environmental challenges.
Building on her experiences and driven by a vision to inspire and mobilize her peers, Emma founded "For Our Planet." This nonprofit aims to educate fellow youth about current environmental issues and emphasize the importance of taking proactive steps to protect our planet. Through "For Our Planet," Emma seeks to empower young people with the knowledge and tools they need to contribute to a more sustainable future, fostering a community of informed and motivated environmental advocates.
